Meet the Founder

Stacy

47 years of selling. Zero apologies.

Stacy has had the entrepreneurial bug practically his entire life.

It started in 1980 — selling Grit newspaper subscriptions door to door after spotting an ad in a Richie Rich comic book at ten years old. He saw an opportunity and took it. That pretty much set the tone for everything that followed.

Where It All Began
Original Richie Rich Grit newspaper ad from 1980 — the ad that started it all for Stacy Kellams

The original Richie Rich "GRIT" ad, 1980 — the one that started it all.

At 11 he started a lawn mowing business. At 14 he moved on. At 15 he was selling peepholes door-to-door with his best friend Levi after school in the small West Texas town where they grew up.

In January 2004, Stacy launched his first online direct response marketing company. His goal was modest: $100 a day in net revenue. The site did $3K gross in January. $10K in February. $30K in March. $100K in April.

"That's when I knew I'd captured lightning in a bottle."

Since then, Stacy has sold hundreds of millions of dollars worth of products and services — online and offline — scaling several businesses to 8 figures before exiting. He's had multiple 7 and 8-figure exits from both online companies and brick-and-mortar businesses.

Stacy began using direct mail as a marketing channel in 2006 and has used it successfully ever since. While everyone else fights for inbox attention, Stacy quietly reaches his customers in their mailbox — with ad copy they can hold in their hands, set on the coffee table, and come back to again and again. Something email and SMS simply can't do.

"If you do the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing, you'll be right 9 times out of 10. Zig while everyone else zags."

Stacy enjoys sharing his 47 years of sales experience with like-minded entrepreneurs who want to deliver the highest value for their customers while building the highest value for their brand.

Nothing happens in life until something is sold — and you're either selling or being sold.

Stacy believes a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet. So shoot him an email, send a text, or — heaven forbid — pick up the phone. He'd love nothing more than to meet you and make a new friend.
